As I see my work here, I feel a little bit releaved that this part is over and then I realise that i have so much more I have to do, and want to do.
The first picture is for my Creativity; Theory, Practise and History class. Where we was gonna write an essay about if we thought humans as a spiecies has become more creative now than 150 years ago, oor we could choose to make a poster about the same topic. So, write an essay on 700 words or squeeze down your opinions to just a few sentences, could be equally difficult. Anyway, as u can see i went for the poster which im glad i did.
My opinions about this subject is that i don't think we have become genetically more creative. I think we have just found new ways to using our creativity and that the "only" handicap that a person, who traveled to this century, would be that he wouldn't know how to use our tools, but be as smart as we are. Maybe just a little but outdated on whats going on in the world.
I named the author John Q Locke after the philosopher and political thinker John Locke. Who thought that humans are born with a blank slate and only gains his knowledge through experience.
I took the shot in North Fremantle where they are growing a lot of trees.
After that picture comes my batch of pictures from my assignment on Still-life (stilleben) which was kinda boring, but a challenge non the less. I made twelve different set-ups for this assignment. We had to hand in five pictures with different set-ups and the ones who became choosen by the teacher was the first five. I made three more set-ups that i havent finished working on yet, but im not sure i want to show them coz im not so pleased with them.
And then ther is the three pics i posted a while back ago. But the Fairy picture is the same set-up but i choose to have it in black and white, and that picture above is taken with the Cambo, an old large format camera.
Speaking of cameras, i used four different cameras on this assignment, my very own Canon 350D, Canon 5d+shift lens, the Cambo large format and the Bronica middle format which was quite hard to use, but very fun.
The Shoe picture set-up was built in the studio. The brown paper background i used is painted by Björn, and was used as a wrapping paper around a giant chocolate egg box i got on my birthday. So it was like a little tribute to him.
Im quite proud of the picture with the small characters running around, even though its not actually still-life. or i wouldnt call it that anyway. More like an action shot with toys haha. But anyway, i built up this big stage on my desk. Out of magazine paper, toys and alot of imagination. It took only six hours to build it all and paint the stuff, and one hour to shoot it so it went pretty fast anyway.
The other pictures; Jewellery, Head-less man and the flower pot was shot in Off the Wall. Which is a really nice second hand store in Fremantle. Im gonna give them copies of the photos and hope that they would like them.
The I-Love-my-Penis picture is really open for interpretation :p
I made the drawing a few days ago, and the magazine layout was also for the Creativity class. We were only going to do an interview and hand in but i wanted to make something more, creative than that, coz hats whats the course is about? But i got really tired of doing it and i just kept procrastinating it all the time, so this is just something i threw together tonight.
And i guess thats it. I have two essays due this week, two tutorials and another photo-assignment for Advanced digital Photomedia. Its gonna be a tough week but after this week we have a entire week off!

Jag köpte faktiskt den när jag var i Japan. Den kostade typ hälften så mycket där. I love it!
