Yahoo! After a long struggle, my frames have finally made it to Melbourne where they are hanging in the C3 Contemporary Art Gallery.
I've had so much trouble with these frames. To make it short im writing the story in a list version (it doesnt sounds like much trouble but trust me, it was ridiculous sometimes) :
- three visits to Ikea after buying the wrong colour of the frames and one of the frames broke which i had to change.
- Getting denied by the post office to send them to melbourne cos they might brake.
- Calling three different couriers that couldnt help me either.
- Carry them all over Perth.
- Paying for a 40 dollar taxi trip from Ikea coz i hated the world.
So I met up with him and handed the frames over, packed in ten meters of bubblewrap and cardboard in a nice blue Ikea-bag :D.
EXHIBIT A - The broken frame to the left.
As I dont have anything new that really matters I'm showing some stuff that I'm working on and some smaller stuff that I've made some time ago.
Working on:
I'm also working on three photoprojects right now:
- First one is about a fashionshoot where we have to work together with a fashion designer, model and make up-artist and use the fashion designers clothes and find a location and contact models. Which is gonna be fun and i have found my locations that i wanna use and almost narrowed it down to a model i wanna use.
- Second one is very similar to the first one but we have to work without the fashion designer and we have to find the clothes ourselves that we wanna use for our models.
- Third one is about telling a story sort of, in twelve pictures at least. I'm doing some research where i could go to do that one coz i wanna find some place really interesting and unusual and big. I like big.
- I also have my graphic design class to do assignments for every week also. uuuugh!
Little things finished:
A little cheer-you-up-in-the-autumn-gift to C. It's a lightbulb in the package.
A dress I made for my graphic design class where we had to make something look like fabric with the texture and shadowing.

My new favourite colouring markers. These are awesome! The colour dont leave any big lines as cheaper markers do, so the colour like melts out and mixes together which is really good when you different rendering. The only bad part is that they cost 8-10 dollars per marker :O.
And what else? I'm hopefully going to get a liiiittle closer to space itself in short while. Get back to you guys on that :)

I still remember the trouble you had with the frames!
I'm so glad it all worked out in the end for the best! :)
You work very hard, so it was nice to see your work was shown in Melbourne at the exhibition.
Keep doing what you are doing!
You are very lucky!
