it was very silent actually. But after standing there for a while I could hear how the ice started to crack, then I saw that a boat had gone by and the waves made the ice crack and it was really nice actually :). It was just me and the crackling noises which grew louder as more and more waves came to shore. Awesome moment!
I like how these trees look very Burtonesque.
