A couple of videos from Cottesloe Beach outside of Perth starring me, Paige and my feet haha. It felt like we were on vacation, people were swimming, surfing, sunbathing and playing on the beach, and they call this winter haha :)

Me and Phoebe ordered a couple of new Ipod Nanos 3G hehe, got them today!! It looks great! Here are some pictures from every step of... THE UNBOXING... and testing the video :)





The thin lines that is showing in the video isn't visible visible for the eye, it is just because of the different frequencies the camera has. The video quality is as good as the original file is. I love it, I can now watch my tv-shows in my bed the seconds before I go to sleep ha ha.

The display gives of more light a stronger light and the battery life is longer than the 2G Nano. It's even a couple of millimeters thinner than the 2G Nano :D

My 3G Nano is the basic one with 4GB of hard drive.

The cost: 199 AUS Dollars = 1194 svenska kronor :D

The latest assignment for my Communications and Digital Technology class. We had to make a poster and a ticket for a concert with a band called Quartz. We could take pictures from existing bands so I choose to make Kent pose as the ultra cool indie-band called Quartz. Kent/Quartz, you see the resemblence? :p All the pics are from their website to promote their new album called Tillbaka till Samtiden (as seen in the previous post).

I'm really satisfied with the poster but I didnt have enough time for the ticket unfortunatley, so im not satisfied with the left part of the ticket. But I can improve it later maybe.

Kent's new single is being released the 17th of september. The song is called Ingenting (nothing at all) and is really good and the album is called Tillbaka till Samtiden! (Back to "our [own] time (age), contemporary period")

I made a little tribute to them with my favourite covers from their albums and singles. I can't wait until the whole album is released!! (17th october)

So what has happened recently... So many things it's hard to remember.

First of I can tell you about this crazy incident that happened on last Sunday. Me, Phoebe and Sandy were going to Fremantle to enjoy the nice weather and to eat fish and chips. On the train on the way there we sat infront of tihs aboriginal family, one woman 30+, her husband and their son who was around 5ish.

Suddenly the man and son walks away to the other end of the train and the woman is left. All of a sudden she starts to scream at Phoebe! :O She's screaming things like: Stop staring you focking cunt! Focking CUNT!!! and so on..

We sit there completely shocked. I ask Phoebe what she's done and she says she hasnt stared at all. The aboriginal woman continues to scream and suddenly she stands up and walks up to Phoebe and screams even more! Then I realise it's time to do something! I was sitting next to Phoebe but we had our bags between us so I move them away and sit right next to Phoebe and start waving at the woman and says loudly something like: What the hell are you doing? Get out of here!!! And then she backs off a bit but starts to scream at me: Who da fock are you?! Fucking cunts gonna killya cunt cunt blablablablablablablabla... But she she goes back to her seat but continues to say evil evil stuff. I say to Phoebe to just ignore her. She then tries to get sympathy from the other passangers but most of them are laughing at her coz they know we havent done anything wrong.

Then her stop comes up and she leaves the train with her husband and son and continues to call us cunts, she really must love that word.

After that our fellow passengers ask us what happened. One passenger says: Hehe she must like you :D. And an old man says: You handled that good :)

Some aboriginals do stuff like that just because they can and they are on drugs/alcohol I've heard. Many teenage girls even starts fights and then call for 20+ aboriginal guys to come and join them in the fight! It's crazy!

I also got a Certificate of Manliness from Phoebe after that :D hahaha! FINALLY! Hero of the day :p

But other than that we had a great sunday. The weather was nice, we went shopping and then ate a really good dinner at an italian restaurant. We first had Fresh mussles in a big bowl with alot of garlic sauce I think. And then we shared a pizza "with the works", with everything on :)..

Yesterday me and Paige went to The Galleria, we both had to buy groceries and I ended up buying half of the clothes in the entire Galleria, I kid you not!!!..okey a little bit :p.. and then food for 100 bucks :S..gonna last me 1½ months or something haha.

But, after I got home I realised that the clerk had put the wrong pants in the bag :S She'd put someone elses pants in my bag instead of the ones I should have. So I had to go back today, Joakim and Paige tagged along.

I returned a pair of shorts and another pair of pants that werent that good afterall, and ended up with a brand new BLACK/WHITE adidas jacket! OH YEAH! FINALLY :D and of course the right pair of pants :).

And then we took something to eat. Me and Joakim ate really nasty sushi, or it wasnt that nasty but it didnt taste any good haha. So..a little nasty.

Next week is Mid-break!! Wohoo two weeks off! but I have two big assignments I have to due after those weeks so, we'll se what I'll be up too :)...

The weeks are going so fast here. We had our crayfish party last friday, it was a success! Many people came and enjoyed the evening at the rec room, we had decorated it alittle bit haha and blowen up ballons. The crayfish was really good and the Knäckebröd and kaviar aswell. The Snaps were really tasty!

What else has happened, last monday me and marcus was in the dark room all from two till ten, so long time but it was fine, we handen in our assignment photos on wednesday, I hope I get good grades hehe.

And on wednesday night me and some friends entered a basketball competition! HAha we got our asses kicked really bad, we lost with 54-15 or something like that. But i think the referees added points to us to be kind haha. And the other team were cheering for us when we finally got some points. They were like proffesionall players and we were barely able to bounce the ball correctly haha. But we had great fun :). Some stupid "fjortisar" at the bench even laughed at us, but we didnt care, we were cool :p

We got a food thief in the area! So strange, someone has stolen a juice carton two times from me, and my cooking oil and a roommates chicken has been stolen, and some other stuff aswell. It's really strange.

Tonight I hung out with Joakim, Nafaul and some girl named Belinda at the "J" house heh.. and then Nafaul made indian food to us, it was SO goooooood!

I'm free tomorrow, I think im gonna go to the city and look in the LIVE (?) store for some cool clothes...

If you forget how to smile (a letter to my future self)

The pictures are from me and Phoebe's studiosession last sunday night! It went pretty good but the lightmeter wouldnt work, so I had to improive and test different settings to get the right one. Then the flash-thingy you put on the camera wasnt working properly cause it was loose so it didnt connect enough to set of the flash at some times, really annoying, but I got pretty good pictures anyway. And considering it was my first studio photography shoot I myself is pretty satisfied :) Phoebe did a great job, such a good job, she got three muffins the day after :p

Today I had Communications & Digital Technolohy, but I skipped the tutorial cause it's so damn boring.. But I went shopping food instead haha. I really needed rice and some other stuff. It was nice to go by myself cause I havent done that yet. Just me and my precious Ipod Nano :)..

After that I went home, gave the muffins to Phoebe and then home and slept. On the evening we went out to eat korean BBQ! But the bbq was so expensive so we got some other korean food in the same place though, it was sooooo good :D I'm definitly going back there!

Then after a really good dessert (different ice cream) we went home and stopped by the Music Room and played some piano, or we tried, Phoebe said thatshe couldn't play but she could, the bastard :p..

Tomorrow I'm free on the day, yay! But I have to study for the Contexts of Modernity class i have on the evening.

I have booked another studio session with Joakim on wednesday night! It gonna be fun! Its for an assignment I have in studio work class. I hope everything works this time...

I really like this picture. It's from the time when me, Stanley and Phoebe went to Fremantle to take pictures. I printed it in the printing labs yesterday, it came out really good.

Tonight me and some friends just hung out in the recreation room, it was me, Joakim, Tim, Nathan and Nafuael. We drank alot of Jäger and whiskey and had a good time playing pool, ping pong and then drums and piano haha. Nathan did some skateboarding as well. We tried to find a party somewhere in the village but we couldnt, everybody was either asleep or studying cause everybody has assignments due week six! Me to :(. I have booked the studio on sunday night and on thursday night! it's gonna be fun! If i can get in :S cause the security guys have to come and open it! So lame.

Tomorrow it's basketball time in the city, if I can get up... Its almost five am here soon. I'm gonna help Paige with her powerpoint presentation at 12pm first, then try to go to the city around 2.50 pm. I hope I can make it, would be really fun.

Ok, its time to take this to another level: English time!

Yeah I'm gonna try to write my blog in english, if there are any english readers out there ;).

So me and Marcus went to Perth International Airport today to take pictures for our Photo work class. Wow, what a trip! When we arrived at the bus terminal in Perth they said that there wasnt a bus that went to the International airport, only for the domestic one! Say What?! If we wanted to go to the international terminal we had to call a private company to take us there, and that would cost, alot!

So we got directions to go to the domestic airport. First we had to walk over to Georgetown I think its called. It's like a buisness district. To take a regualar Transperth bus. The bus took approximatley 45 minutes or more :O. So annoying!! There have to be an easier way to get to the damn airport! Anyway, we got the to domestic airport and got really dissapointed cause it was so small and barely any people there. It didn't feel like a big airport as we wanted. So we asked some people who worked there to show us the way to the international airport. They told us that it was 14 km from the domestic one :O. So we had to take a shuttle bus that cost us 5 dollars each. Not so much, but we didnt want to pay that just to go to an airport! We took the shuttle bus anyway and arrived at the int. airport.

We walked around for a while and got dissapointed again haha. There wasnt so much people there and the airport wasnt very bigger than the domestic one. But, we bought some coffe before we got started with the pictures. Then we walked around the airport for two or three hours and took photos of flight attendants ;), pilots, passengers and different airport staff. We had quite some fun actually. We got some weird looks from the security guys though. But they didnt say anything and we were really polite and asked most of the people we took pictures of.

At one time there was a guy who walked past us, just some random passenger dude, and he said something like: What are you standing around here for?! With a really bad attitude, we were just standing there and doing something with our cameras. So that was weird! Jerkface!

Around five-ish, we decided to go home. But there wasnt any buses going from the international airport, so we tried to go on a shuttle bus but we werent allowed to go on them without a airplane ticket :O we even said that we could pay the driver but he said: No, its against the law!

So we had to take a taxi, that cost us 30 dollars to transfer to the damn domestic airport! Ridiculous!

So, when we came there, i found a purple window to take some pictures through (as seen above) :D I like colored glass. Its like looking through a different reality or something! Back in Stockholm, I enjoyed going to Max (a hamburger place) cause they have a windows that is colored yellow :).

Then we went home with the tranperth bus (45+ min).

Back in Georgetown, we got of the bus and I wanted to take some pictures of the skyscrapers there, so I stood on the sidewalk and started to take some pictures. I was holding my arm over the road to get a better picture, and all of a sudden this big ass bus comes swooshing by!! It almost hit my arm (with camera) and surprised the shit out of me just when i took the picture. The bus can be seen in the picture above, its the blurry thing to the right haha.

Btw, I shot the pictures for the assignment with my analog SLR camera. But I will upload some of them to the blog aswell when I have developed them. I shot the pictures above with my digital compact cam, so it's only some random shoot-from-the-hip-photos :D

Those we dont speak of...

Blev inspirerad av The Knifes promobilder dom tog för några år sedan. Jag gillar verkligen masker av olika slag :). Ska försöka fixa en photoshoot med folk med masker av olika slag, coolast är ju djurmasker, stora djurhuvuden som i Bat For Lashes videon.

Idag hade jag Communications & Digital Technology. Det är så sjukt tråkigt. Eller föreläsningen är halvt intressant men nog bra att kunna, men tutorialen är så grymt tråkigt, idag lärde vi oss...Word. Yay! Sen måste man göra tråkiga små uppgifter som att typ skriva en kolumn, lägga in en bild, och sen spara... Det var inte bara att lära sig word. Veckans lektion gick ut på att lära oss om Typography, alltså när man ska använda vilka fonter var och hur typ. Dom riktiga uppgifterna vi ska lämna in om några veckor är iof mycket större och roligare än dom här vi har under själva lektionen. Tyvärr måste jag gå den kursen för att den är en av grundkurserna man måste ta i communications, creative industries och contemporary arts.. Men men..

Efter det åkte jag och Paige till stan för att lämna in hennes dator som krascha när vi installerade VLC :S skitskumt. Hon måste haft något virus innan som blev triggat av installationen eller något.

Efter det åkte vi till Northbridge fö att handla mat. Gjorde två matlådor med ris och fläskkotlett. Yummie! Imorn blir det att åka till flygplatsen med Marcus, ska fota till en uppgift vi har i Photo work. Sen har jag kvällsklass från 17.30-20.30. Ska bli intressant!

Her eyes... So innocent

Idag skulle det blivit bio, men vi delade på gruppen eftersom några av oss var ashungriga.
Så vi gick till Tea Cafe som äör edn kinesiska restaurangen jag o Phoebe var på förut. Det blev Rice and Beef (with egg on top) in Claypot, Friterad bläckfisk, wokad kålsallad och japanska nudlar med fläskkotlett. Sen efter det drog vi till ett ställe som heter Vultures och drack sig lite ja ja :) Sen taxi hem, its still nice :)...

Jag borde definitivt sova nu, men jag var tvungen att avsluta en teckning jag hade i en dröm för några dagar sen. Det lustiga var att i drömmen så började jag jobba med den i photoshop precis som om jag skulle gjort det på riktigt. Så jag fick lite jobb gjort i drömmen kan man säga haha. Det var så konstigt för jag började tänka på texten jag skrev i förra inlägget, nåt som skulle passa till bilden, för jag kunde inte sova så jag låg och blundade bara och plötsligt så blev jag trött och tankarna blev till drömmar istället. Då började jag drömma om bilden här ovan samtidigt som jag försökte komma på berättelsen här under, ballt :).

Det röda ljuset i bilden kommer från min datormus, blev rätt nice stämning.
