Rauour kjoll svartur har

I had a photoshoot yesterday with Adele, a friend in the village. She used to model back in China and she was very good. Stanley was with us and helped with the lighting this time also. We had really fun and we did two different sets. First this one and then we went home to eat dinner and then went back out after Adele had changed her clothes to a "at the office"-kinda look, which worked really good actually. I havent started edit them so i upload them in the next post, maybe.

Midsummer?

Im very confused these days, and i dont mean "oh im so confused with how i feel-kinda-confused", or that also actually but this is more of a old-man-lost-in-the-woods-kinda-confused. Today when me and my roomie Veronica went to get our pizzas we had ordered i went in to the wrong store :O.. And had a long conversation with the man working there, didnt understand a word he said coz he spoke with very bad english, and then he finally said: Pizza? Me: Yeah, i ORDERED ONE! Kebabguy: Next door!!

Then when finally got the pizza i just gave them the money and left without taking the change, or all the other stuff we had ordered too. So i went back and got the change and got the garlic bread and pepsi bottle.

And then that previous Cinema incident of 2008 a last week... Confucious says: OH SNAP!

Anyway, midsummer came and went (in sweden) but no little frogs for me. But i celebrated with good old swedish music a la Kent, Bo Sundström and just for fun; Nina Rochelle and had a happy zombie marathon with Dawn of the dead, [Rec] och Diary of the Dead. They were goood! Especially [Rec] which was one of the scariest movies ive ever seen :O.

Last sunday me, Stanley and Zura went to the south to the town of Mandurah. It was basically like a smaller version of Fremantle, which is great. This wasnt so great but i think in a few years it will be very up-and-coming. They are building new houses and apartments there which look great, right by the river and harbour and it got its own marina also. We went there to shoot some pictures just for fun and we also got to see dolphins which was really cool. Right there in the river swimming up and down and playing infront of the boats. Kinda neat. Can upload som pics next post. Speaking of pics, the above one is from my shoot with Veronica for my Images & pleasure-class.

Oh yeah, almost forgot, i really need to show you this video. Especially for those doing something in the creative business, or actually any people who feel they are doing something they really want to do in their lives but struggling with. I "tested it" on Lopez a few weeks ago and he said it was really good that he saw that video. It's very inspiring. So please, for your own sake, take a few minutes and listen to what this guy got to say, it will be worth it. Without no further ado, I give you Ira Glass.

Indiana Jones and the kingdom of the confused moviegoer

This photo is from the shoot i had with Paige a few weeks ago. It went pretty good and i got some pretty good pics of her. After my parents shipped my yukata from back home i could finally use it for something useful. So we went down to a little local/pond not far from here and took some pics. I used my old Nissin flash this time which went pretty good. Paige was really good and for this shot i asked her to look furious in a subtle way which i think came out pretty well haha. I dont think the colours come out as good as they are supposed to be when i make it into a jpg and upload it on blogger, but its supposed to be pretty colorful anyway.

Yesterday me and some friend went to see the new Indiana Jones movie. Björn, Cathrine and Marcus pickd me up in their nice pimpmobile (family wagon) and we went off to Morley Galleria to see it. It seems like not many people in Perth actually order tickets when they go to the movies, coz we were almost the only ones who stood in that cue while maybe 20-30 people tood in the other cue for people who hasn't booked a ticket. Anyway, we got our tickets and i could feel the excitement kicking in. I was gonna see Indiana Jones for the first time in my life, in a cinema! Amazing! So we walked towards the ...saloon? (the big frikkin room where they show the movie) :p when i suddenly heard: Sir, excuse me, you have a ticket?

I turned around and saw all my friend laughing and i then understood that i had something to do with it. i had walked right past the ticket guy without even noticing my friends standing in line waiting to get their tickets checked. What a noob i was and what an embarrassment to the Cinema Gods. I showed him the ticket and excused myself, i must have looked really confused but it didn't matter. I was in Indiana Jones-land :)

I had waited to see this for years and now, the moment was here. I had heard some bad reviews of it so back in my mind i tried to keep my expectations down and just hoped for a fun little adventure. But what i got was the complete opposite...

We entered the cinema and it was almost empty, weheeird. But we had great seats, right in the middle. It took almost 20 minutes before they actually started the movie but by then i was still really excited. Actually, I relived my entire childhood of watching the old ones for the first time, i got one of the greatest adventure movies ever! Yes, for me it was that good even though i can see many flaws with it i really liked it and it gave me exactly what i was out to get. Adventure, humor and alot of well executed action scenes by one of my fave directors, mr Spielberg :). Thanks!
