New. Change. Light.

Aaaahh, Sweden :).

The cold. The empty look on peoples faces on the subway. The snow and the forrests. The bread and little stuff we put on the bread for breakfast. The internet. The food. Cars going on the right side of the road even though I'm looking in the wrong direction. I'm loving it.

I've also met many of my awesome friends and a very special someone (hello C) :D. I've found some really nice bars and places to chill out on and for the first time in yeeears I feel at home in Stockholm.

One week left now, which is really sad. But I will be back again soon and darnit to hell, I'm gonna enjoy that even more than I did this time :).

but not in me

I feel the cold fresh air coming into my lungs again and I start to smile as I'm walking down the hill from my house. Everything looks exactly as it used to look.

The little shortcut through the forest is still there, the different paths that lead to the other suburbs still cut through the saturated grassfield and the little houses next to it still have the same colour scheme as they had when I was young, light yellow, white and light pink. The gravel they put on the streets during winter makes the familiar scratching sound as they roll under my shoes when I step on them.

It's a comfortable feeling of recognition but when you look carefully you'll notice the smaller changes, the details. I love to spot change though, in people and places. Everything changes over time and many times it's very inspiring to see. It can also be very intimidating to see change, especially when (of course) its about things or people you don't want to change...

I'm home now, back from the other side of the world and I'm finally so much closer to something real than ever before.
