New Era

So I have finally moved to my own place in Mount Lawley. The place is fantastic. Balcony, awesome bathroom, two bedrooms and a really nice kitchen and a living room. The apartment is really bright and cozy and I really feel at home there. The only thing Im missing now is internet so for the time being I have to go to uni and use internet but its okey.

I have also bought a new Moleskine journal, my fourth one now and I'm still as obsessed with it . Unpacked it yesterday and got a really good wiff off the nice new pages :D Smells really nice actually hahaha. My housemate Lisa mustve thought I was more weird then usually.

I feel that im have come to a new stage of my life, with the new apartment and everything. Things are good and soon I'm heading to Thailand and then back home to Sweden. Gonna be great to see everyone again. Heres some pictures from the new crib.

The above picture is my first use of tracing lines on my drawing in Adobe Illustrator which worked out kinda good, then applying it in Photoshop on a photo i've taken in Mandurah.

jag flyger upp och ner

A letter I wrote for to Caroline a month ago. Scanned the letter and put it on a nice old texture I found somewhere (?), made it more dirty and old looking, added pictures I've made inspired by her. Scanned flowers from outside my apartment and put some song lyrics in it also and finally made it into a little booklet. The white and blue pictures on the package is just paper I cut from a design magazine as wrapping paper. The package contained a a Wire in the blood t-shirt and a really cheesy fanpic of one of the actors from the show lol :D In the pic I've included some of the pages from the booklet.

I'm moving to my new crib on Wednesday! It's gonna be good but I wont have any internet there so I'll probably gonna appear to be dead But I'm not. I'll be back!

What I'm looking for

The first session features some of the photos I shot with my friend Veronica in the little beach suburb Cottlesloe. I had to feature at least three different garments but I choose also to have at least three different locations for that shoot. Joshua was with us to assist me with the flash.

The second series of photos features the WAAPA-dancer Alissa (Wester Australian Academy of Performing Arts). On this shoot I worked together with a fashion design student; Anita Gadenne who had made these really cool dresses. So the assignment was to showcase her dresses in a way that suited her and my taste.

Alissa was the perfect model for this shoot coz i really wanted to show the dresses in a "flowing" kind of way. I first had thought to use a ordinary model from the agency and to shoot it at the Art Gallery. But when that model didn't show up because of some miscommunication with the agency we had to cancel that shoot, which was really sad because the Art Gallery would also have been a perfect location to show off Anita's dresses. But it worked out anyway, I'm pretty pleased with the result anyway and I think Anita was pretty satisfied also.

This third batch of pictures is from my Images & Narratives assignment where we had to tell a story with text and pictures. Or at least with pictures. First I an idea that was about this character going to the European Space Agency's radio telescope (Space :P) close to New Norcia and his dream of coming as close to space as he could right now.

But I ended up doing another idea I got and did like a mystery novel containing pictures and journal entry's in this character Henry Bukowskis journal. Above is just a few pictures from the 23 double page spread story. I tried to make it as "multimedia" as possible by using photos, drawings, notes, maps, real letters sticky taped on the pages itself and other things. I also wanted to make a homepage for it which would've the reader be a part of the story even more but unfortunately I didn't have time for that.

Right now I'm forcing myself to drink this weird lemonish tea I got from my nice house mate Emma. I'm having a nasty cold and I'm on day three now which really annoys me. It disturbed my "going-on-a-walk-each-day-schedule" and some other stuff I really had to do.

OH by THE way. I'm moving out on December third! Me and some other people living in the village got a nice little letter a few weeks ago saying that we couldn't live in the student village anymore because we had lived there to long now and had had the village "experience". But on the same day as we got the notice Gordon found a really nice apartment that his friend was gonna leave behind. Sooo, me and Paige who also got kicked out, got to move into that apartment because Gordon could live here in the village next semester coz he's a newbie compared to me and Paige who have stayed here since mid 2007. But anyway, It feels great to finally have an own place to live in. We have a balcony also and it's really close to the liquor store and a supermarket :D.

Movie of the Month: Into the Wild.

After graduating from Emory University, top student and athlete Christopher McCandless abandons his possessions, gives his entire $24,000 savings account to charity and hitchhikes to Alaska to live in the wilderness. Along the way, Christopher encounters a series of characters that shape his life.

Read about the real story here. It's really interesting and a bit sad.

PS: Oh yeah, my website was up for a few days, or maybe just one as you may have noticed. The owner Uber.com went bankrupt or something some days after I joined them. WHAT ARE THE ODDS?!

Pass this on

I've put up a small and simple portfolio homepage that you can view here:

http://martinrinman.uber.com/

I dont wanna make this post to long, but I have some great news regarding myself :p

Some of my artwork got chosen for that exhibition in Melbourne a few weeks ago and now one of them has been SOLD! To one of the jury members of the exhibition itself! This is great because this is the first time ever I get one of my artwork or photos sold, anywhere. So, congrats to me! :)

The artwork that was sold was this one.

Coming closer to Space now, this Thursday is D-Day!

SPACE&FRAMES

LIVE FROM MELBOURNE:

Yahoo! After a long struggle, my frames have finally made it to Melbourne where they are hanging in the C3 Contemporary Art Gallery.

I've had so much trouble with these frames. To make it short im writing the story in a list version (it doesnt sounds like much trouble but trust me, it was ridiculous sometimes) :

  • three visits to Ikea after buying the wrong colour of the frames and one of the frames broke which i had to change.
  • Getting denied by the post office to send them to melbourne cos they might brake.
  • Calling three different couriers that couldnt help me either.
  • Carry them all over Perth.
  • Paying for a 40 dollar taxi trip from Ikea coz i hated the world.
But, when all hope was gone and the only sollution for me was to fly them there myself, a miracle happened! Out of nowhere, this dude from norway writes to me on facebook. Ive only talked to him very few times coz he was a member of the ANSA-group which is the norwegian student group that i joined a year ago coz there wasnt a swedish student group and they gave me and Joakim Daim-candy. I think that he knew the people in charge of the exhibition and wsa exhibiting one of his pictures also and anyway, so he asked me how it was going for me and my pictures coz the deadline was closing in. He said that the post office wouldnt probably have enough time to send them to melbourne by then buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut he said that HE could take them to Melbourne because he was going to the exhibition himself! WOHO! There is a supreme being!!

So I met up with him and handed the frames over, packed in ten meters of bubblewrap and cardboard in a nice blue Ikea-bag :D.

EXHIBIT A - The broken frame to the left.

As I dont have anything new that really matters I'm showing some stuff that I'm working on and some smaller stuff that I've made some time ago.

Working on:

I'm also working on three photoprojects right now:

  • First one is about a fashionshoot where we have to work together with a fashion designer, model and make up-artist and use the fashion designers clothes and find a location and contact models. Which is gonna be fun and i have found my locations that i wanna use and almost narrowed it down to a model i wanna use.
  • Second one is very similar to the first one but we have to work without the fashion designer and we have to find the clothes ourselves that we wanna use for our models.
  • Third one is about telling a story sort of, in twelve pictures at least. I'm doing some research where i could go to do that one coz i wanna find some place really interesting and unusual and big. I like big.
  • I also have my graphic design class to do assignments for every week also. uuuugh!

Little things finished:

A little cheer-you-up-in-the-autumn-gift to C. It's a lightbulb in the package.

A dress I made for my graphic design class where we had to make something look like fabric with the texture and shadowing.

_

My new favourite colouring markers. These are awesome! The colour dont leave any big lines as cheaper markers do, so the colour like melts out and mixes together which is really good when you different rendering. The only bad part is that they cost 8-10 dollars per marker :O.

And what else? I'm hopefully going to get a liiiittle closer to space itself in short while. Get back to you guys on that :)

Mönster

Some random paintings and a drawing i finished today.

One of the tasks in Images & Narratives was to do a cd cover with a "compressed conflict". That is, words that go against eachother sort of. Sooooo i made this weird cd cover. We also had another task but im not that fond of if so im not gonna show it. :p

Say More..

"J'ai besoin de Paris"

The picture below inspired me to do draw this ^^. I also got inspired by these movies; Tatt Av Kvinnen (Gone with the woman), Paris Je T'aime and Amelie from Montmartre which i really recommend. All are set or have scenes in Paris where I very much would like to go to and sometime in the future, stay for a longer while. I was there when i was younger but I didnt really appreciate it back then. The sixth person in the portait in the drawing is my dad who took the photo below. The whole thing is a tribute to my family and the future, whatever that might have in store for me and them :). Unfortunatley my grandparents passed away a many years ago, but dang, i really miss them alot. Especially when i was started doing this picture coz then i had a dream about my grandad:

Me and my dad were cleaning out stuff from their old apartment after they had passed away. I walked into the living room and suddenly fell flat down on my face after tripping on something. Exactly when i hit the floor the sealing light turned on by itself. My dad came to the living room and wondered what had happened. I told him that i just tripped on something and that the light turned on by itself. Then he tries to turn it of but it doesnt work, he tries several times but it just doesnt turn off. I look forward and see my grandparents bed in the livingroom, which of course wasnt there in reality. I could also see imprints on the bed, as if two people were laying in the bed. I ask my dad if he can see the imprints and he can, he tells me that we should go.

After that we are in the hallway of the apartment. Someone knocks on the door, my dad opens and he sees someone who makes him very happy, he goes towards that person and hugs him/her. I suddenly see someone in the corner of my eye, a figure standing behind the wall into the livingroom. I get scared when the figure slowly dissapears behind the wall. But then appears again and its my granddad. He wears his grey trenchcoat he used to wear in the winters and walks into the hallway. He sits down besides me, i say: oh cool trenchcoat! He says: (in swedish) you were a little (in english) into fashion haha. I say: yeah haha... :O END.

A really good dream.

Heroes

Yay! I finished (well almost anyway) my ads. Which is the second part of my assignment for the studio applications for advertising-class (the glassware was the first part).

I started a few days ago with some very rough sketches of the concept, but then i wasnt sure which direction i wanted for the pics so i tried a lot of different taglines for the ads which u can see in the sketches.
After i had done the sketches i went to Toys-R-Us in Morley to find the masks. Unfortunatley they only had really expensive full-set costumes so i thought i had to make my own masks for a while. Until i passed K-mart, good ol trustworthy K-mart. Or something. There i found these supercheap masks which was exactly what i was looking for. So i bought Spider-man, The Hulk, Optimus Prime (transformers) and Batman. I then had to organize the photoshoot and assemble the people; Joshua (batman), Stanley (the hulk), Nicky (spider-(wo)man and Tri (optimus prime).

And then yesterday afternoon (friday) we had the shoot in the business area of the city which had the perfect big-city-super-hero-kinda-feeling to it. On location i tried a few different things with my heroes and tried to find the right meaning for the pics, which eventually came through. Sadly enough, i can only hand in three pictures so unfortunatley The Hulk got left out. But im gonna edit that picture also and show it here eventually.

Started to edit the pics yesterday evening and kept on editing until 4am and then continued today. The ads are for a cinema company called Union Cinemas i made up (short for U.C, get it? :p).

I was actually really lucky with the finished shot coz i had only planned on to shoot in that area and in a bus stop, and some bench. But after first finding the bus stop for the Spider-man shot, which was relatively easy, we then found a little spot for another batman-photo that i havent edited, but turned out really good. We then walked by a building that we went into and asked if we could shoot in the lobby, but we had missed that it was a government building so no photography was allowed in there.

So we had to go out and as we walked down the street i noticed a really good area with some steps coming down and some tall buildings in the background, ideas started to come up in my mind and the perfect location for The hulk was found. Went in to buy a coffee in a café close by to use as a prop and then after i found the right angle we started to shoot. Everybody helped in that shoot by doing different tasks and we had a really good time.

After those pictures were done we found a van just opposite the stairs which was perfect for Optimus Prime to pose infront of. We didnt want to make it look like we were braking into the car so we had to shoot fast and then walk away. On the way from that location we walked by another really awesome lobby. Went in and asked if we could take a few pictures there and i got the above Batman shot from there. And then we were done and went home :)

I just had a hallelulja moment regardin my other bigger photo assignment. So i have to take a break and draw it down. Laters

Violence

We do these kind of stuff in my Graphic Design Foundation class. Or most of the part we sketch and do perspektive drawing but this weeks homework was to paint with Gouache and Pastel-colour which i hadnt tried before. Liked the gouache colour very much coz it became much stronger than watercolour and didnt go pale after it tried. Hard to see on the pictures above but ive used alot of water to get the light colours in those.

EDIT: After seeing some of the others work of this homework on todays class, my really sucks!! but that's okey coz i haven't done this stuff before and they're all graphic design students and I'm here to learn :).

Today I got a great nostalgic moment when i found a tv-show that i watched when I was younger. I found this list of: Top Ten 80's theme songs, and this show was numer one and when it started to roll i immediacy recognised it, memories came back and everything felt great haha.

I watched a lot of American tv-shows when i was younger coz we had The Childrens Channel (TCC) and a bit later on; Cartoon Network. Which was really good coz i learned alot of English by watching that. But yes i also watched the ordinary stuff on SVT and other stuff, Bumbibjörnarna (Disney's Adventures of the Gummi Bears), The Smurfs, Trasdockorna (The Raggy Dolls), the one that was about the blood cells, viruses and people who lived inside the body to teach you how the body worked in different situations but i cant remember its name...

But the ones that i truly remember and attracted me was the animated american action-shows like G.I. Joe, Transformers and M.A.S.K. Ive listed the theme songs from each show and just listen, its fantastic, genius, still awe-dropping, exciting and fun:

And the one that triggered my flashback of nostalgia was Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors:

Just listen to that synth in the background!! (dutidutidutidutidblipblapblipblipblipdutidutiduti)

So much violence, but I love it. Yeah, still! (The worst thing is that i thikn ive written about this a few years ago, but what the hell, cant rmb everything :p)

What tv-shows affected you the most when you were growing up?

EDIT:

The show that i couldnt rmb its name, was...Once upon a time... Life!

There was also a SPACE-version of this show, listen to the funky theme song here.

På en rulle!

Made it a week or more ago and then finished it tonight after "Oh Deer". Phew.. now I'm tired. Time to go to sleep soon but first im going to watch the ending of The Shining by Kubrick. Then its read-n-sleep-time. Class from 1.30-8.30 tomorrow. Gonna be long and tiring. Goodnighty!

(I got inspired by the song "Málfur Skinnytoe Junior" by the icelandic artist Kira Kira.

The lyrics are:

"Fog slithers through his nostrils, inside him, what a personality that fog is..."

It was also inspired by the songs; Dracúla Darling and Kittens in his pocket also by Kira Kira.)

Kira Kiras Myspace <<<.

Oh deer!

From sketch to finished product, not more than 4-5 hours. I'm Happy! Why the deer? I dont know really, i really felt that i needed to do one. A startled deer would be nice i thought and i havent done animals for a very long time. I always did when i was young though. I did airplanes and animals. That was my thing. My favourite airplanes to draw were fighter jets or old war planes and my favourite animal to draw was the gazelle. Oh yeah i did battlefields with underground hospital bases also. Quite fascinating :p

I've have also finished reading Naiv.Super. and it was an excellent little adventure. Easy to read, very interesting and it's written in a fun way that makes it appealing to anyone who has ever been in his or her mid-twenties. I highly recommend it!

It's Shining

Before i started on Naiv.Super. i finished reading Stephen Kings The Shining. It has been a long read coz i've been so lazy to find time and read it but now recently i've began to go to bed earlier and catch up on my reading. When i was i Hong Kong i bought Stanley Kubrick's movie version of it and i also found Stephen Kings own version that he made coz he wasn't pleased with Kubricks version. So i have saved those to dvds to watch till after the book was done, and now it is. So a few days ago i started the extravaganza by watching Kings version.

His version was alot more like the book is, both how the characters behaved and spoke but also how all the scenes played out. But i am going to say that Kubricks version is a lot more scary than Kings version is. Which is also because in Kings version, the actors aren't really that good and even though its much more like the book it feels a whole lot more cheesier. While Kubricks movie is more of a interpretation of the source material and more focused on being a so much more scary.

Two minor details about this is:
  • Stanley Kubrick and Stephen King, SAME initials; S.K (creeeepy).
  • The particular edition of The Shining i own once belonged to a girl named Susanna. It was a Christmas gift from her grandmother in 1984 (which is also the year i was born) and i would guess she lived on the island of Gotland outside Sweden, coz that is where i bought the book for 10 crowns (approx 1½ aus dollars) on a flee market. (I got this info from the first page in the book).
I've saved Kubricks version for this moment, to have read the book and be able to compare it to Kings version and that moment have finally come. Off course i've seen it before but that was years ago and now its gonna be very interesting to see it again. It's gonna be a great moment in my life :D

Even numbers

Im reading a book called Naiv.Super. by Erland Loe, it was a gift I got from Carro. Its already one of my favourite books and im getting closer to the end now. The author have really written it like it was a diary, or as if the main characters thoughts were poured onto the pages so it almost feels like your are reading ur own diary. Not just because the way it is written but also what he writes about. The book is about a young man trying to find consistency in life. It's about a ball, a good friend, a bad friend, a hammer peg board, a girl, a scientist and an invitation by his older brother to New York.

Speaking of gifts, i also got a n AWESOME painting she made, a cd with tons of music and a letter from her. The painting looks like this:

Yesterday a bunch of us went to Subiaco for a random photoshoot, the pics are here to be seen. The rest of the weekend was spent in Freo on a birthday dinner for Stanley and Nicky and then on to a birthday party in the village. All in all, it was good.

Oh yeah, the first picture is from a shoot i had with Nicky last semester.

But you can really see me

Random drawing became Angelina Jolie, sort of. At least her lips haha.

My old room mate Veronica came by today and gave me two postcards from her brother James, who sings and plays the guitar in Ancient Free Gardeners. They made postcards out of the album cover i made for them. Really cool to see them being printed :)

After my graphic design class i have tomorrow (thursday), my weekend officially starts, i cant wait!

Speaking of my classes. I have made myself an art-class-kit, ooor officially called A.C.K or also AC-Kit. I needed to have some sort of pencil case so i went looking for one and fortunatley my friend Ira found me one when we were in the city the other week which was exactly what i was looking for. Sleek, simple and sturdy! Yes, stuurrdy. After that i bought really good pencils, a sharpener, erasers and rulers to be prepared, which i love to be. Ladies and homeboys, i give you..THE ACK:

These tales of our stay

Attempt number 3 to write something meaningful and interesting:

...I always end up sitting here in front of the computer, trying to summarize everything thats been in my mind lately but then i end up writing some really uninteresting event story instead. I think i feel too exposed on this blog to write something really really honest. The same goes for my art i show here, i feel to exposed to show my art the really means something to me but im gonna try to start showing those stuff too more. Sometimes i actually feel ashamed of what i draw/shoot just because they are very private thoughts and ideas drained on paper/photographies. So from now on im just gonna post whatever it is and not care so much what people think. Phew, feels good to get that out :D

So to celebrate this enlightenment i start with this picture above i made a few days ago.

I just dont feel it

This was the first painting i made in my new bigger Moleskine when i got it back in July or something. I started with the background with some random aquarell pencils and a brush and then used ink to draw what i saw in the colours. Turned out pretty decent and it seems to be making people happy.

The text is from the Kent song "det kanske kommer en förändring". and it reads:

"Älskling, jag vet att du är vaken.
Signalen når din del av världen, men får inget svar.
I värmen står luften dödligt stilla.
Tänk om du kunde se hur processen tappar fart.
Älskling i natt kom du tillbaka.
Och allting var förlåtet i en återvunnen dröm.
Och just i ögonblicket när jag vaknar,
hänger skuggan av hoppet kvar på mitt rum."

One of my favourite songs evahhh. Its awesome. no, AWESOME.

Earlier tonight me and a company of ten went to Little Creatures in Freo again, we had to show some of the new people our favourite brewery and restaurant in Fremantle. And yet again, it was gooooood. People ate their wellknown pizzas, nachos, frites (probably the best in perth) and kangaroo. I ordered a supertasty plate of tiger prawns and then a really nasty dish of cold marinated octupus, just to try it out. It eventually came down, and it was pretty okey to eat but i think they should use more garlic and tone down the sourness. Some who tried it couldnt stand it but me, Gordon and Astrid managed to squeese them down after we added some aoli sauce to them. :)

och så läste jag

I met an old friend yesterday night, my The Shining book and i spent some time together before i fell asleep and it was good. It feels though, like the book is never gonna end, its so long, but its good so its ok. Havent read that for so long now and it was something i really needed to do i think, to just turn off the computer and go to bed and read for a while. its good for the soul :).

School begins on Monday and im not really looking forward to it so much. Dont know why though, coz im gonna study subjects that i really wanna study and can forget about those really boring units i had the last two semesters, coz now im a sophomore student and not a freshman student haha. woho. This sem im taking:

Studio Applications for Advertising
Images & Narratives (also a photo unit)
Printmaking
Graphic Design Foundation (which combies design in drawing on paper and in computers)

So a littlebit of everything i need for my third year unit when im, for example, designing a portfolio book for my photographies and some other stuff aswell.

Good nighty

Det kanske kommer en förändring

Finished the backside of the album cover i was doing for Ancient Free Gardeners a few weeks ago, yes i am pretty lazy to update my blog. (bigger versions here and here.)

Speaking of nothing, can someone tell me why i meet so weird people all the time? Maybe its just me who attracts them, but in some weird way i have a tendency to run into very strange behaving people. OR another theory, all the people out there, is frikking weird. Yes it has to be like that, and that of course, includes me. Actually i like weird people, but what i don't like is people who don't have any manners. Yes im oldschool but i like manners in people, when they are good :p

More than a month ago during my Creativity class, we had an assignment for our group project. We had to go to the library and borrow books to share within the group and get inspiration for our coming project about *drum roll*..THE FUTURE! So all the groups went there and borrowed stuff. I borrowed two movies, A.I. and another futuristic movie, i had already seen those and i even owned my own copy of A.I. but i wanted to let the others see those movies and get inspired. So i gave them to my fellow group members.

After a week or so we are ready with that assignment and we meet and i ask everyone if they have returned the movies, which of course they have, or at least the two that was there. We finish the class for the semester and i starts to enjoy my holiday. One day, maybe around a week after we have finished the class, i really feel like i wanna go to the library and borrow some omvies from their really good movie section. I pick two awesomely movie; Ghost in the Shell and something else, but when i come to the counter they say that i cant borrow anything because i havent returned A.I. on video to them. GRR. So i go home and email everybody in my group and says that someone havent returned A.I. And everyone seems pretty sure it is *** ***** who has borrowed the movie. So i text her and says pleease return it a.s.a.p. so i can borrow stuff from them. She replies and says: oh, sorry yes im going to return it on Monday (after that weekend).

so i think its okey and that she is going to return it on monday. Of course she would, why wouldnt she?. More than a month goes by and the school is releasing our grades from last semester. When i check my grades, they say that they are BLOCKED! Uh-oh. what does it mean? No one knows. So i go to the Student Central to ask them coz they handle questions like this. And they say it is because of a library fine i have and that i cant check my grades until i have paid that fine. Ooooooh okey i say, i thought i had done something really wrong and gotten so worried about it, but its just a small fine for one or two days the movie was late. Or that is what i thought anyway.

I go to the library and ask them about it. They say that i have a S I X T Y DOLLAR FINE!!!!!!!!!!! But it will go down to 40 if i return the movie. I say that its actually not me who have the movie but this evil girl from my class. Nothing to do, someone has to pay it they say. So this was last week. I have been calling her repeatedly since then, texting her, leaving messages on her phone, finding her on facebook and written a long mail, written to our teacher and explained the situation and asked if he can contact her which he was gonna do, talked to her friend who finally answered the phone and sounded like a really bad liar and claimed that she had left her phone there and said that i could try tomorrow if it wasn't urgent, i said it was urgent and explained everything and hes aid that he was gonna ask her to call the next day, which of course she didn't.

Oh yeah forgot to write the biggest problem for me, i really need to check my grades so i can print them out and send to Sweden so i can get my government funding money (CSN) and pay for my units im taking this semester!!!!!! ARGH!!

So now i have to pay for that and then try to find her and give her the receipt. OR sacrifice my own Special Edition version of A.I. on dvd :(. LUDER!!!!

Drug deal in Perth

Förvirringen är total.

Till min förklaring måste jag tillägga att några glas vin hade druckits :).

EDIT: Almost forgot. The pics below are from my third shoot with Adele, who was really good this time also. We went into the city to the business district, the only part of Perth which actually feels like a big city. Stanley helped us this time also, thaanks alot!

EDIT 2: I have bought a new Moleskine notebook. Im on my third now and it feels great, GREAT! I felt like a kid on christmas after i'd bought it and me and some friends were on the train back home from Fremantle earlier this week. I asked Paige:
-maybe i should open it now? should i open it now? *giggling inside like a little schoolgirl*
-err.. yeah you can do that... ..
-maybe..maybe ill wait until i get home heh.. *cant stop thinking about it*

I waited till i got home and opened it by myself. i was in dreamland. The best thing about it, that its twice as big as my previous ones. So now i can make bigger and better drawings and paintings. I have already started on five different things and i have bought watercolour which is really fun, maybe i can posts some next time.

I feel, that i have to share some Moleskinerie with you people. But yes, i know its really not interesting for the uninterested, but considerings this is my blog so :p... here goes:

HOW TO UNWRAP A NEW MOLESKINE:
  1. Unwrap the plastic
  2. Pull the paper sleeve from the cover
  3. Tuck the post card and stamps in the accordion pocket.
  4. Kiss the history of Moleskine pamphlet, and reflect how fortunate you are to be using a notebook favored by Hemmingway and Van Gogh
  5. Open the notebook, and turn to the middle, or thereabouts
  6. Bury your nose between the pages, rooting as closely as possible to the spine.
  7. Breath deeply
  8. Repeat Step 7 until filled with a sense of well being
